Hi there! I’m Niva, a Product Designer based in Berlin.

My journey as a designer began with a foundation in architecture design, where I developed an appreciation for structure, aesthetics, and functionality. With a curious mind and a passion for crafting meaningful experiences, I transitioned from designing spaces to designing digital products that resonate with users. This shift was fueled by my desire to combine creativity with problem-solving, aligning beauty with purpose.

At Invia Flights, a leading B2C flight booking platform, I gained valuable experience in creating user-centric solutions for millions of customers across Europe. My time there deepened my understanding of the significance of a cohesive design system, and I made  impactful contributions to enhance and optimize it. We embraced the Shape Up product development methodology, allowing us to focus on delivering value quickly, with releases happening in days and weeks. Later, at HRS Group, a global B2B corporate travel platform, I embraced the complexities of designing for diverse markets and stakeholders. Both roles strengthened my expertise in the travel industry, designing for both B2C and B2B audiences, and emphasized the importance of adaptability and collaboration in delivering results.

Throughout my career, I’ve been guided by principles of accessibility, inclusivity, and innovation. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, advocating for cohesive design systems, and facilitating stakeholder discussions are not just tasks, they are opportunities to shape experiences that delight users and drive results.
